Amazing Cruises for Veterans

ACE has exciting cruises lined up for 2018 and beyond, but we believe that our cruises for veterans will be the most spectacular. Each ship will have guest speakers, panel discussions, and workshops. Plenty of time will be left for enjoying the amenities of the ship — eat all you want at all hours of the day.

TRUE AMERICAN HEROES

About Our Cruise

The theme for the veteran conference cruise is "Life After Military Service and Life After Final Retirement." The conferences will reunite servicemen who have not seen each other in many years. They will also get to hear war stories from living fighters from as far back as WWII, Korea, and Vietnam.

The cruise will also raise awareness about changes in veteran benefits and existing assistance service organizations, as well as raise money to support the startup of a new nonprofit company called Veteran Professionals. This company will be designed to help veterans find employment, shelter, and the help they need. Additionally, we will be building a new sickle cell treatment clinic in Columbus, Georgia, where currently, there is no existing clinic for sickle cell patients. We will continue to support programs helping children living with cancer by raising money for land and sea camps all year around.

All our pricing is per person. The cabin fares are listed. Other companies may charge a fee of as much as $1300 for a 5-day conference. Then you still have to eat and pay hotel fees. Our conference fee pays for speakers, entertainment, and operational costs. Your cruise fare covers cabin, food, and beverages (Non-alcoholic). Our goal is not to chase the money but make our cruises affordable to all income levels. We offer group discounts for booking 10+ fares within one week, church retreats, reunions, and conventions. Our cruise ships are so large; it doesn’t matter what the conference theme is, we can hold additional large-scale activities at the same time.

We will suggest a payment of some amount per month (Min $100). Full payment must be received within not later than 90 days prior to cruise departure. Buying passage through VP is the only way to be admitted to conference entertainment and speaker presentations.

Host: Arthur Bronner
Keynote Speaker: Mel Pender (US Army Captain Ret)

Melvin Pender, Jr. (in Atlanta, Georgia) is a gold medal winner, in the 4x100 m relay at the 1968 Summer Olympics. He was a member of the Philadelphia Pioneer Track Club where he was coached by Alex Woodley. Mel Pender was a decorated Vietnam war combat veteran, serving in the U.S. Army for 21 years and retiring at the rank of captain in 1976. While in the U.S. Army, early in his service, Mel took up athletics, where his incredible quickness was noticed in camp football games. His progress was remarkable, and he was selected to the 1964 Olympic Team but hampered by injury he did not medal. At the Mexico Olympics, Mel made it to the 100 m final where his explosive start and exceptional acceleration brought him to the lead midway through the race. But he faded slightly and finished sixth. In the relay, he was chosen to run the second leg, and he performed that duty exceptionally. The American 4 x 100 m relay team won the gold medal in a new world record of 38.24. Mel set world records in the 50 yds at 5.0, 60 yds at 5.8, 70 yds at 6.8 and 100 meters at 9.9. Mel is in several halls of fame.

What people don't know is he didn't run track until the age of twenty-five while he was serving in Okinawa with the 82nd Airborne Division. After his athletics career, Melearned a bronze star in Vietnam and worked as the first Black head track coach at the United States Military Academy at West Point.

What We Offer

We'll Help You Plan Affordable Conference Cruises, River Cruises, and More

At ACE, we plan group travel events on land and sea, including reunions, conferences, weddings, honeymoons, church retreats, and more. However, our specialty is cruise vacations. We believe that cruises should be available to everyone - not just the wealthy. Therefore, we price our cruises for all income levels. We'll even show you how to plan in advance so you can save money, walk you through the planning process, and tell you what excursions are available at each port.

River Cruises

River cruises vacations are enjoyable as they are on smaller ships that can navigate inland waterways. Book yours today to explore the United States or traveling to countries around the world. These cruises also offer educational excursions with frequent stops.

River Cruise Ship

Alaskan Cruises

If you love nature, this is the cruise for you! You'll get to go whale watching and observe other magnificent Alaskan wildlife while taking in the spectacular scenery. There's also all-you-can-eat crab legs and lobster that seafood lovers will be dreaming about for weeks.

Cruise Topics
The topics for the conferences are designed to provide information each guest can use to improve the quality of life for them and their family. We aim to provide a relaxing and enjoyable experience so they will share their experience with others.

Join Our Team
We are actively looking for speakers, entertainers, and people of all ages who want to learn the modeling and entertainment industry. Please email us and let us know what you want to do. Include contact info, two pictures (one headshot and one full body), email address, phone number, and a typed, single-spaced one-page letter about why or how you can contribute to our project.

Plan Your Event
Plan your next large or small event with us. We can do 4-5 day cruises along with longer 7-8 day cruises. Plan a church retreat, a class or family reunion, a corporate activity, a wedding or honey moon or just a getaway. Please do not throw cell phones in the ocean…just leave them home and enjoy the ride. We can even provide "Old School" artists to perform at your event!

Helpful Tips for Planning a Cruise
1. Order your passport from the post office as soon as possible.

2. Get your friends to sign up for the cruise. You have more fun exploring with people you know.
3. Take plenty of pictures. VP is starting up an online Travel Magazine managed by Veterans. It will feature photos and stories of our returning guests and book reviews of publications and works submitted by our guests.
4. Travel agents will negotiate extra benefits for you. Ask about them around 90 days out from your departure.
5. Don't bring a lot of clothes; most of the time you will be in shorts and a t-shirt.
6. Visit our online store to register for future cruises, and fill out our form to enter ACE's sweepstakes for your chance to win a free trip.
7. Contact our office to speak with us about any questions you may have about your cruise.
